I visited Davila twice in the span of a month, once for a check engine light and once for a stolen catalytic converter on my 2009 Volkswagen Rabbit. Every aspect of working with them was fantastic; Gabriel especially went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and they were very honest and transparent. They were incredibly communicative with my car insurance and made sure to be accessible during the claim and repair process. Would highly recommend for anyone who needs work done on a European or any car!

I have employed them as my primary mechanic in Chicago for the past two years. In that time, I had a variety of work done on my auto: fuel line replacement, resonator replacement, diagnostics work done on brakes, and most recently a new catalytic converter installed.

All in all, the labor pricing is very competitive and the new parts/auto repairs have lasted and maintained their quality. They also work fast with most repairs done in a day.

This is by far the best automotive repair shop I have used! They are very reasonable, thorough, patient and incredibly friendly and helpful. I had my brakes and rotors done and they were a lot more reasonable than my dealership. They were very communicative and even helped me locate a reasonable tire shop. My brother recommended this shop. He says that they have kept his 17 year old Honda Civic in excellent shape. They were also very patient with all of my questions that I had. I highly recommend this auto shop!

These guys came as a suggestion from a friend and I am so grateful for their reference. Jamie and Juan are incredible. They went way above and beyond what was asked to help out in a tough time. A trustworthy honest car shop is hard to come by and I will continue to drive from Bucktown to see them when my car needs serviced. Do yourself a favor and bring your car to them!

My superheroes! Jaime and Juan went the extra mile to stay until AAA dropped off my car then gave a lift home. They literally had my car back up and running within less than 24hrs. So glad I found these guys and definitely will be back again

After having 12 cars and have been to several mechanics, I have to say this shop is by far one of the best. It actually feels like I’m dealing with family. I have had two vehicles that they have serviced and I can honestly say I’m satisfied. The customer service is great. Their communication is excellent. I love the way they explain everything.

Their turnaround time is on point and I never have to wait long. Two days at the most and that’s if I'm getting work done. This place is a winner!

Had an issue with my brakes while near downtown, and needed a local place to take a look. They were able to take me in and fix the issue within the same day. Worked with Johnny and he was great at communicating the issue. Their rates are super reasonable and their location is a few blocks from the 18th st pink line stop.

I started coming here last year when my car battery died. I live around the corner and they came over and jumped my car and brought it over to their shop to fix. They never charged me for jumping my car and driving it over (granted I live super close), but still a very kind thing to do considering they didn’t have to do that.

I admittedly do not know much about cars (lol), but feel completely comfortable bringing my car here whenever I have an issue. I recently had to get a bigger car issue fixed, and they were responsive, timely, and easy! Would recommend!
